			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>BMW is revered for its inline 6 engines that feature throughout their cars and have won a multitude of awards and plaudits. They&#8217;re extending the inline 6 engines to their motorcycle range next year and have built the Concept 6 to show off the new engine.</p>

<p>With a redline over 9,000 RPM, 96 lb.ft. of torque available from a low 2,000 RPM and over 150hp this engine is going to be pretty rapid &#8211; and for the concept they&#8217;ve clothed it in a frame to match. Looking like a cafe racer from the future the rakish lines and chopped side exhausts give this bike real presence.</p>
<p>While the production six will most likely feature in a refresh of BMW&#8217;s excellent touring bikes, it would be great if they built this cafe racer variant too&#8230; Here&#8217;s hoping&#8230;</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Although there aren&#8217;t many details available about the new Honda CB1100 it has just been confirmed that it&#8217;s making it into production. Based on the CB1100 concept from 2007 this no-nonsense bike is sure to bring a thrill to any cafe-racer&#8217;s heart. It should also prove to be an excellent base for customisation &#8211; as evidenced by the red custom concept in the photos.</p>
<p><span id="more-117"></span></p>
<p>The CB1100 is a welcome return to a time when well specced, high quality bikes were built to do everything instead of just fitting one style of riding like today&#8217;s sportsbikes, tourers, etc. It&#8217;s great to see retro done so well &#8211; and this bike promises to be a future classic in its own right.</p>

It&#8217;s a question not many people ask, but <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/qmoto/sets/72157622516318731/">Ian McElroy</a> taught himself Solidworks to do just that. And the rendering of this streetfighter with Subaru&#8217;s almighty WRX flat-four boxer makes that exercise completely worthwhile. This thoroughly modern concept features not just an incredible power to weight ratio but single-sided swingarms front and rear and hub-center steering.</p>
<p>While this awesome bike only exists in pixels at the moment, I&#8217;m sure you&#8217;ll agree that this is one concept that fully deserves to be brought to fruition.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Founded in Okazaki City in Japan in the early 90s and now prominent in the US market, this custom bike shop builds some of the best looking choppers in the world &#8211; and now <a href="http://www.zero-eng.com/">Zero Engineering</a> have just opened their first European dealers and <a href="http://www.zeroengineeringeu.com/">website</a>. There are no frills, gadgets or chrome, just meticulous build quality and attention to detail.</p>
<p>While their Type 5 and Type 6 production bikes are stunning in their own right it&#8217;s the custom jobs that truly stand out. These one of a kind masterpieces are amazing, with details such as the custom paint job on the T5 &#8211; Dragon really standing out with its kimono fabric inlaid under the clearcoat!</p>
<p><span id="more-224"></span>Based on hand built gooseneck frames, the standard bikes come with S&amp;S engines, 5 or 6 speed transmissions, springer forks and bags of style. As to the custom bikes &#8211; well it&#8217;s up to you&#8230;</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Ducati 1198 Strada wouldn&#8217;t strike you as a motorcycle that needed much improvement, but <a href="http://www.revercorsa.com/">Rever Corsa</a> apparently felt it was lacking something a little extra. They have developed a range of customisation options &#8211; starting with full carbon fibre bodywork, and extending to carbon fibre wheels, Ohlins fork and shock, Brembo brakes and an Akrapovic exhaust. As a bespoke piece you can go even further &#8211; with a titanium chassis and a supercharger taking the already impressive Ducati&#8217;s engine up to 200hp.</p>
<p>With the result looking like a modern interpretation of the Batbike &#8211; it&#8217;s no wonder they called it the Nero.</p>
