Barnes&Noble Nook

The e-reader space is heating up and the latest and greatest entrant is Barnes & Noble’s new Nook. With a much slicker design than its chief rival the Kindle it looks very promising indeed.

The first thing that jumps out at you is the dual screens – one full colour touch screen LCD that lets you scroll through the books on the Nook, and the main E Ink display for reading. The Nook also has built in 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity to download or purchase books on the go, and 2GB of memory – the equivalent of 1,500 books – and extendable storage through the use of a memory card.

My only question is – when do we get it in the UK?
